Attending Stereophonics’ concert at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on April 8, 2025, was an unforgettable experience. As part of their first North American tour in six years, the band’s return to the stage was met with palpable excitement from the crowd.

The Wiltern’s art deco charm provided an intimate setting that perfectly complemented Stereophonics’ dynamic performance. From the opening chords, lead singer Kelly Jones captivated the audience with his distinctive raspy vocals and engaging stage presence.

The production was stellar. Stage was dressed so clean and well thought out to hide the usual eyesores of cables and stands. The lights hitting at different parts of the song were also a sight to behold. Even the switching of instruments were seamless, like it didn't even happen between songs. The crew was definitely top-notch.

The setlist was a well-curated mix of classic hits and new material from their upcoming album. Fans were thrilled to hear favorites like “Dakota,” “Have A Nice Day,” and “Maybe Tomorrow,” which had everyone singing along.

My favorite part of the show was when Kelly told the story about the experience when the band toured with David Bowie. It turned the show into an intimate conversation with the fans.

Throughout the evening, the band’s chemistry and passion were evident, creating a genuine connection with the audience. The energy in the room was electric, with the crowd feeding off the band’s enthusiasm and vice versa.

Stereophonics delivered a powerful and memorable performance at The Wiltern, reaffirming their status as one of the UK’s most enduring rock acts.
