A night of raw punk energy at The Glass House in Pomona as Prince Daddy & The Hyena rock a powerful set alongside Heart to Gold, Cliffdiver and Ben Quad, each delivering their own flavor of rock music.

The Glass House in Pomona buzzed with energy as Prince Daddy & The Hyena headlined a night of raw punk music, supported by Heart to Gold, Cliffdiver, and Ben Quad. Each opener brought their own flair- Heart to Gold's grunge-tinged rock, Cliffdiver's emotive pop-punk, and Ben Quad's math rock riffs- all building anticipation for the main act.
The Albany-based punk band, known for their raw sound and heartfelt lyrics, played a blistering set filled with fan favorite songs like "I Forgot to Take My Meds Today." Frontman Kory Gregory's raw vocals filled the intimate hall with which engaged the crowd, almost telephatically and emphatically, making them sing along and shout back the lyrics.

I felt every emotion that was supposed to be felt that night. It was a feeling of release, of solidarity, that makes everything feel a little lighter, even if just for a few hours. It was the perfect cap off to my woeful week. I just came from a 3-week vacation back in the Philippines and the post-travel depression hit me hard. And not to mention the jet lag. It wasn't helping at all. I thank Prince Daddy & The Hyena for the warm hug from the songs that they played that night. I needed that extra punch to get me through the following week. It is true, sometimes being not okay, is okay. Let it simmer. Let it fill you up. Until you release everything into the universe. Tomorrow's gonna be another day. Another fighting chance. Or it could be another normal day. I don't really know.
Dang it, I can't believe it's only Tuesday.
