Patrons at the Garden Amphitheater got served 10000 calories of rock and roll with 10 years of Mac Sabbath. Joined the food fight were Peelander Z and The Dickies.
It was a night of pure rock and roll entertainment. Peelander Z opened the night with their crazy antics which seemed like game show, music show and comedy show all in one. I had a hard time tracking and chasing them around the amphitheater. Yes, the whole amphitheater. They went everywhere they can! They even put some of the audience to play the instruments. It was a very interactive show. Never have I seen anything like this. If any chance arises, please do watch them. It was definitely a fun show from start to finish.
Next up was The Dickies. To be honest I have never heard of them before, but I am blessed to see them that fateful night. It was pure punk energy, steady backbeat and those gritty guitars. People were flying everywhere! No passports needed here. They had props to every song which I think was very cool and quirky. I dig it. If I could see them again, I would. And you should too.
Lastly, the forefathers of drive thru metal.
Patrons at the Garden Amphitheater got served 10000 calories of rock and roll for Mac Sabbath's 10th anniversary. They did not disappoint. It was a night of rock entertainment with the occasional banter and puns from Cat Burglar and Ronald Osbourne. Engaging the crowd with jokes and songs, there wasn't any empty minute.
Kudos to the whole team of Mac Sabbath for putting on a show like this. Everything was thought out so meticulously they made it look so easy. The costumes, the sections of the show, when to start and end a song for the sake of a bit. All of these were carefully planned. This goes to show how Mac Sabbath, a band of this caliber can last for 10 years, and more.
I would watch them again. No doubt about that. I know some shows which are scripted most of the time, get very gritty. Some shows feel like a chore to go through. But not this one. I will gladly be a returning customer to Mac Sabbath. All hail drive thru metal!
